Every pastor and church leader needs this conference. When it comes to the text of the Bible, Christians in our congregations are being exposed to confusing teaching. We ought to expect a trickle down effect in our churches resulting in challenging questions like:
- Can I trust the authenticity of the biblical text?
- Why do Protestants and Catholics have different Bibles?
- Can I confidently preach and teach from my English Bible?
- Isn’t the KJV the only version we should use?
- What is the best English translation today?
We’ve assembled a great team of professors to address these timely issues and to equip you to lead your people confidently through these and other difficult questions. Join us as we consider these critical topics together.
- The Dead Sea Scrolls: What do a Fortress and “the Cave of Letters” Reveal about the Textual History of the Old Testament? (60 minutes) – John Meade
- Why I Don’t Believe in the Septuagint (60 minutes) – Peter Williams
- The New Testament before the New Testament: On the Early Christian Recognition of Scripture (60 minutes) – John DelHousaye
